L'uomo più grande non è forse testimone
di una lenta fine che sempre più incalza?
Che sempre più freme di abbattere ciò
che cospargono i semi dello Spirito?

Rovine per colui che inquieto geme.

E forse egli stesso non è vittima
di un meccanismo distruttivo che sempre più dimora?
Il baratro del nero abisso avvolge l'essenza
di una fredda e vuota materiale esistenza.

Privo di turbamento è l'animo saldo ed invincibile,
inespugnabile da alcuna contumelia il suo essere.
Solo il debole cade nelle trame dell'offesa
e l'inquietudine si fa padrona della sua anima.

Oltre la vita arde colui che sa.

Pari a Dio è l'uomo che vede, privo di dolore ed umana debolezza.
Dal tempio dell'Io il saggio ripone le armi e domina se stesso.
Alle soglie del Sé si smarriscono le orme d'umana natura;
affiora il germe di nuova vita alla foce del fiume del risveglio.

Scruta all'orizzonte, ai confini di te stesso,
sgorga dentro te il nettare divino.
Sconfiggi il demone che risiede entro te,
turpe bestia invidiosa del Sé!

La fermezza del saggio passa da qui:
lungi dall'adirarsi e dall'essere ferito.
